Description: Consists of the building of three new lanes, with the length of 23 km each, on both sides of the Tietê express-way. Four new bridges and three overpasses will also be built in order to facilitate access to the express-way.

Comments: The amplification of the bypass has the objective of reducing the time spent on trips through the express-way in 33%. The Tietê Express-way is the most employed road of the country (6% of all the cargo transported in the country goes through it). Also, the project includes the repositioning of trees that will have to be removed for the construction and the planting of new trees by means of the Enviromental Compensation Program.
