Formats used by Sound Transit for engineering team -- a joint venture, and for construction contracts. Tunnel excavation will generally be through glacial soils using pressure face tunnel boring machines. The tunnels are lined wiht precast concrete segmental linings. Station platforms are as deep as 80 feet below grade.
