Description: Proposed upgrade and replacement of portions of the water and sewerage network operated by the Water and Sewer Company of Sarajevo (ViK). The EBRD is in final review of a proposed 30 million Euro (loan) that would help finance these upgrades. The goal of the transition is to encourage an arms-length service agreement between Sarajevo Canton and the ViK, with eventual elimination of cross-subsidies and the introduction of full-cost-recovery principles.
