Description: $458 million replacement of teflon inflatable roof with a new retractable roof: the largest cable supported retractable roof in the world. BC Place is home to the BC Lions CFL football team, and was the site for the closing of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The blue-sky opening is 100 metres by 85 metres — the same size as the field below.
