Results Chart for Delivery Method and Financing
From Public (Government) Sources to Producers: Project financing comes from money generated from vacating the pre-existing museum facility and land, the state's commitment to lease back the premises once completed, the State Historical Fund, and bonds secured in the private market.
Direct Cash Support: A portion of the project funds were cash acquired through vacating the old facility and land, as well as revenue through money allocated within the State Historical Fund.
Credit Enhancements: The remaining source of Project Funds is from the private bond market through Certificates of Participation. These COP’s are secured against the value of the Building and are repaid through the Lease/Purchase agreement between Colorado Historical Society and the non-profit corporation.
