Substantial Alteration of Existing Facility
This project upgraded 3 existing 100’ diameter basins by adding all new basin equipment including plate settlers, scrapers, and aluminum domes. Chemical feed improvements include new chlorine dioxide system, upgrade to activated carbon system, and replacement of two 10 MGD constant speed pumps with two 28 MGD variable speed pumps. Major electrical and controls upgrades, yard piping, structures, and flow metering upgrades.
