Description: Regional project that will bring water from the Arkansas River and the Pueblo Reservoir (in the South, near Pueblo, CO) northward through connections to (a) Williams Creek Reservoir, Chilicotte Ditch, and the Williams Creek Pump Station, and (b) the Bradley Pump Station and the Upper Williams Creek Reservoir, to existing water supply systems in Colorado Springs. Phase 1 of the project is expected to cost $880 million in 2009 dollars. Construction began in 2010. Phase I is expected to be compete in 2016. The project includes 62 miles of buried pipeline, 1 water treatment plant, 3 water pump stations, and 2 reservoirs.
